Cagliari, the capital of Sardinia, is a lively and charming city, still partly undiscovered.

Much older than Rome, its long history recounts the events of the Mediterranean and the peoples who crossed it: from the Sardinians to the Phoenicians, from the Punics to the Romans, and then the Byzantines, Barbarians, Pisans, Genoese, Spanish, and finally Italians.

Cagliari’s cuisine reflects this historical and cultural richness: a varied gastronomic heritage that draws on products from across the island. Local meats, fresh fish and seafood, handmade pasta, olive oil, sheep, goat, and cow cheeses, together with an extraordinary variety of native grape varieties, make up an authentic and flavorful cuisine.

Our tour will take you on a journey of discovery through the historic center, divided into four ancient districts and dominated by the Castle, which overlooks the entire city and its two bays: the Gulf of Cagliari to the southwest and the Gulf of Angels to the southeast. The center is structured around two real beating hearts: the lively Piazza Yenne, a meeting place par excellence, and the monumental Bastion of Saint Remy, with its large panoramic terrace offering breathtaking views of the city.

We will stroll through the lively streets of the Marina, where residents, tourists, and different cultures coexist, cross the elegant Stampace with its majestic Roman amphitheater, and reach the colorful Villanova, with its flower-filled houses and the relaxed atmosphere of its hidden square.
